Okay Fun Things!!

Okay so this is going to be one of those posts that is fun and not a bad thing at all. We went shooting!! YEAH!!!!!!!!! We also went to watch the fights and got more than what we expected. So double the points.

We will start with the fight first. We were luck to get really good seats and sit just a few feet from the cage door. There were only light and welter weight fights but thats okay. There was also a chick fight so that was entertaining. There was also a little extra fight that went on in and out of the cage. The father of one of the fighters got upset and stormed the cage and tried to go after the other fighter. A very large security guard rushed him and tackled him out of the cage to the concrete three feet below. After which three police men took him out the back door and he was gone. The rest of the fights were good and we had a good night.

Okay so the next day we went out to the desert and went for a old fashioned shoot. We only took the rifles with us this time but the pistol will come soon. To start, the Nagant shot amazing. I haven't shot it since I got the new stock and everything for my birthday. It was so much more fun to shoot and so much easier. The felt recoil was so much less. Its is a very nice rifle now. We also took along the .22 just so that we could do some good plinking and have some fun with it. We are hoping to go back out with the pistol next weekend or at the first of the month. Over Time Work

Okay so this will hit home for lots of people and I'm sorry for everyone out there that feels the pain. Over time work is stupid. Okay yes sometimes it is good to have the extra money and what not. But, I think that for most of us it is just a giant pain. You have already put in 40 hours of work and you are just so so very ready to be done with the work week so you can just have some time to your self but then "THE MAN" has to say, " Oh wait, I need to have you stay late" or "I need you to come in on Saturday" or anything to that effect. And for all those people out there that are on call for any reason and you are just getting ready to have a nice dinner with your spouse and then just as you get your food you hear the phone. I left work not even twenty minutes ago and now you think that because your light got burned out in your kitchen or you just let your stupid kid flush an entire orange down the toilet and now it is over flowing onto the floor that I don't have a life and all I do is wait by the phone and hope that you call me and I can come clean up your mess and try to make you happy. Oh and I love getting the calls in the middle of the night from those people that don't really speak english and want to yell at me on the phone at 2A.M. and tell me that your stove doesn't work. What are you doing cooking it this time in the morning? And why can't it wait for the next four hours til I'm awake and can fix it during normal buisness hour? To all these people you need to listen really close, I HATE YOU ALL!!!!! And on the behalf of my lovely wife, manditory over time is total and complete Bull Shit! You are taking my wife away from me early in the morning and I HATE YOU TOO!! So to sum it all up, I HATE overtime. So lets just be smart and plan better so that no one will have to work over time and get bent out of shape.

Something More Positive

Okay so lets go away form the bad things and lets be happy for at least one entry. Today I am buying 500 rounds of 7.62x54R ammo for my pimped out Mosin Nagant. This weekend I will be taking it out to the dessert and killing some paper and maybe blowing up a ground chuck or two. I need to sight in my new scope first but that should only take a few minutes. We will be training in rifle marksmanship and also in pistol combat. I can't wait to get back out there and get back up to par or maybe a little farther. So I will be taking some pics and video and will be posting them this next week some time. So keep listening.

Fear Mongering

Okay so just by the name of the title you can already tell what it eating me now. People, groups, organizations and every one the tries to sell fear. With the resent health care bill being talked about I can't even believe some of the stuff that is out there. People are being led to believe that Adolf Hitler has come back and is running death squads in place of health care. I can't even start to tell imagine how stupid some of these people are that are trying to sell this as good journalism or even as a half truth. This is nothing more than Left VS. Right and a bunch of smear tactics. It makes me so sick to think that Americans will believe everything on their TV. Why don't you go and ask questions or do a little bit of reading for your self? If you want to know what the real issues are then go out and find them. They are out there for every one to find and to know where others stand. Too many Americans have become sheep. They turn on the radio or the TV and they here all the bull that the main stream media feeds you and they don't know what to filter out as crap and what to take as fact. I say that we need to wake up and see that there are wolves in our flocks. We need to wake up and say to our selves, " I am not going to just blindly follow what is told to me and be a sheep but I am going to learn a little for my self and keep on my toes and I'm going to be a sheep dog in the flock. We need more sheep dogs to keep the wolves away.

Now I'm going to go off on a little rant and talk about the health care in this country. I think that it does need to be better and I think that it has a long way to go before we actually see what needs to happen with it. Do I think that we all need to have free health care and none of it should cost a penny? Not all the way. Do I think that there is a monopoly and that the care should be made available for all who need it weather or not they can pay for it? YES. Why can't we give proper health care to the homeless and the poor and the lower class that can't afford it? Now I have a job that pays okay and I have insurance through my company. Do I think that I need free health care? No. Cheaper would be nice but I can live how with it the way it is because I don't have to use it much. But what about those single parents that can only find part time work and need help getting kids to the doctor or the dentist. People need help in the world today and I think that if the government is able to help then that is their duty.

So lets learn to find the facts and to do a little research on our own so we can be informed sheep dogs and not just one more sheep in the flock. Lets keep the wolves at bay and stand up for our selves and for what is right.

Killer Dogs

Okay so this is just one of those things that some people think is funny and it really isn't. If you have a little dog, don't name it Killer, Giant, Thor, or any other retarded name like that. Your dog isn't even as tall as my ankle!!! It isn't a KILLER!!! You need to stick with a name that fits the dog. Pookie. Fluffy. Paul. These are good little dog names. Oh and lets not forget all the stupid people out there that call their dog "Cat" and their cat "Dog". If you are trying to be funny you really aren't trying hard enough or you just don't have a good sense of humor. I really hate people that have these pets named Goliath that are just little rat dogs and to top it all off they go and put them in little outfits and make them walk around and show off the new clothes the dog got at the mall. And to all those people that bring their little dogs into the grocery store and pet the dog then handle the produce and pet the dog and then put the produce back, I WANT TO KILL YOU AND YOUR DOG!!! Don't bring your dog in the store. It can stay home for the few minutes it takes to do your shopping. Its won't die, but if it does its probably for the better so that you can go and get a real dog. If you want to have something to carry around in your over sized purse then go to the toy store and buy a doll and keep it in there. Its a lot cheaper and it won't crap all over your purse. So bottom line, don't have a small itty bitty dog, and if you do, don't call it killer or something like that and for every ones sake, don't take it to the store with you.

Some Peoples Kids and Some Kids People

Okay so this is a big one for me because I work at and live in an apartment complex that has around 200 kids running around at all times of day and night doing all sorts of thing, getting in all sorts of trouble and raising all sorts of hell. I see almost every day little kids not even old enough to go to school and up to the age of twelve running around at midnight in shorts with no shoes or shirt. When you catch them doing something wrong, (i.e. breaking sprinkler heads or throwing balls at windows) and you try to stop them and discipline them, even in the slightest of scoldings, their parents come running out of the house and yell at you that you have no right telling their kids what to do but then never tell them no to anything or do any type of disciplining. What is happening with this new generation? What is going on with parents now? Does no one care about what their children are going to become in the world? I just want to go up to people and shake them and yell "What the hell?" And for the kids that are being taught this way that they don't have to follow any rules or do what is told to them by adults I feel real sorry for them when they grow up a little and they find out that life is hard and there is a lot of things out there that they are not going to be able to do. I feel sorry for the kids, the parents, and the people that have to deal with this kind of thing day in and day out. I mean really sorry. They are going to have to learn the hard way what life is really like. So no wonder gangs are becoming more popular and crime is so high.

Now what can we do to fix this epidemic in our wonderful nation? Well first, don't have kids til you know that you are really ready for it and then think hard and plan it out before having twelve kids that you can't even support let alone supervise and pay enough attention to. If you are never ready to have kids then its probably a good thing if you don't have any. People should have to go through classes and get permits in order to even have kids in some situations. Second thing that we can do to help this is WATCH YOUR KIDS AND DISCIPLINE THEM!!!!! Oh but you love your kids so much and you want them to be happy and be able to do what ever they want and be care free. Okay fine but how much do you really love them if you are letting your toddler run around, playing in the streets, at MIDNIGHT!? I think you just don't want to watch them so you let everyone else babysit them. Well I am sick of it and every day more and more kids go missing from their homes or yards and I'm 100% sure that this is not helping kids stay safe. And some people are surprised when they here that another kid has gone missing or is lost or hit by a car. It is tragic but there are simple and easy solutions. WATCH YOUR KIDS AND DISCIPLINE THEM. Oh and if I have to discipline your kids for making more work for me and destroying things then it is your fault and it is you that really needs to wake up and needs to be disciplined and maybe you will get a visit from Child Protective Services because I called them and told them all about how you live and watch your children.

The New Beginning

Okay so this is going to be a blog about things that bother me and what I do or will try to do to fix those things. First off I don't know if I will post regularly or not because it might bother me to much to do so or I might really blog a lot if I'm REALLY bothered. Either way we will find out.

Okay so first thing that bothers me and continues to happen to me. People that are visiting from or moved from another country that are not even citizens that yell at me and tell me that I am not a good American. For that matter anyone that says that I'm not a good or a real American. I have done my time in the U.S. Army and protected and served. Where do you get off and what are you trying to achieve by telling me that I'm no good? I mean really! If you go and become a great war hero and save hundreds or thousands of lives and win the Medal Of Honor then I will start listening to you or even if you do something that is the most American that possible than i will start listening but when people that don't even know who I am or what I do or anything about me start yelling at me and insulting me in this way I just can't take it and want to close our borders and say no more outsiders, no more foreigners, and lets build a giant wall all the way around our country and do what we need to do to be self sufficient. I think we need to be more self sufficient any way and not outsourse every thing but then I'm not incharge of the country nor do I want to be.

Now what I do to try to have people respect and understand me and what America is about. I simply say in a nice, calm, and even voice, "I have served my country and shed blood, sweat, and tears for it and when you decide that you are going to talk to me in a calm and non-threatening manner, I will be over there. Until then I don't have anything else to say to you." It has worked and it has not. Some people get real mad and some people step back and realize what they are doing and fix things. So that is where I am going to start my complaints and solutions.
